stories of us
Stories of Us is an exhibition featuring work by CCA faculty that explores personal stories related to belonging, care, and community – the stories we tell ourselves and others about us, craft our own personal narrative about othering and belonging. The exhibition activates the Campus Gallery with works that serve as an example for students as they work to cultivate their own sense of belonging at CCA and beyond.

The identity embodies the convergence of varied narratives, symbolizing how individuals of diverse backgrounds unite to form a community and foster a sense of belonging at CCA. The deliberate juxtaposition of a structured font with a fluid font underscores the harmonious interplay of different perspectives and stories within the community.
“The works featured in Stories of Us serve as a reminder of the fact that we are not alone and that we do, in fact, belong, whether that be as students, artists, professors, staff, or simply as individuals.”
Renata Blanco Gorbea
